Listener Reviews
From iTunes

"Excellent format with great balance of guest and speaker.  Enjoy the diversity and intellect of this fine program.  Excellent content."
"Bill has a good mix of humor and sincerity, which provides for a very entertaining and educational show."

"I get the chance to be on everything from CNN and Fox News Channel to smaller radio and TV shows around the USA and abroad.  It often shocks me to see how IDIOTIC some hosts in highly paid positions are.  So, it always is a pleasure to have a long, animated, even 'heated' discussion with the host and not want to 'Kill Bill'."
"It's not the usual talking head, Q & A show, it's a compelling conversation that will hold your interest from the beginning through the 'Ask Bill 3' at the end.  It's always very interesting and CAN be inadvertently comical."
"Bill is the man to listen to when you want to learn all about interviewing.  He can be brutal at times, but always brings out the truth."
"A podcast original.  The host is a true gentleman, who, while not necessarily agreeing with his guest's point of view, provides a fair and honest forum in which opinions and ideas are freely expressed, something that is sorely lacking in otherwise 'professional' talk shows as of late.  Truly a must listen."

December 26, 2005:    Listen To "You Are The Guest Show # 25"

Guest:  Vern Beachy from Memphis, Tennessee

Vern Beachy returns for our special 2005 Year In Review Show.  Some of the categories we talk about include the biggest story of the year, the worst news headline, the biggest taxpayer rip-off, the biggest consumer rip-off, the worst manufactured news story, and who is awarded the "Hosebag Of The Year" for 2005.  Vern asks me what I think is in store for podcasting in 2006, what do the networks need to do to lure back viewers for their nightly newscasts, and what was my worst moment of 2005.

December 6, 2005:    Listen To "You Are The Guest Show # 22"

Guest:  Malcolm From Singapore

This is a rare interview with an enlisted man in the Singapore military by the name of Malcolm.  It is rare because the Singapore Government can sue a citizen for speaking out against them (as explained in this interview) and for that reason many do not share their opinions openly, especially with outside media.  But in our interview, Malcolm shares his views on the Singapore Government, gives his opinions on recent events including the execution of an Australian citizen, and explains how and why the Singapore Government controls the media.  Malcolm asks me about Black Friday shopping, about the military draft in the United States, how are U.S. relations with Mexico and Canada, and if Americans see themselves as the "gangsters of the world".

All America City Presentation From Fort Dodge, Iowa Delegation, 2001
Paul Harvey was wrong.  The lights are on in Fort Dodge.  This comes from my vault and features the full presentation of the "All America City " Awards by the Fort Dodge delegation in 2001.  It's a story of our town; how the city came back from losing 2,000 jobs in the 1980's, how it fought back during an FTC ruling that would have closed a major employer in the 1990's, and how the city is addressing many social problems and challenges with civic cooperation, leadership, and volunteers.
